12 x 400m track session with 45 secs recovery. There was only Oscar and myself doing this session so it was tricky getting the recovery times right - most of the time I was actually getting over 50 secs recovery. Conditions were perfect with only a little rain at the end and no wind. We started off slightly too fast but settled into our rhythm by the 2nd rep. The first 3 - 4 were tough enough and didn't feel very smooth. By the 5th I was into my running and once I reached half way I started to push a little harder. Never pushed too hard but concentrated on keeping my form and running at a nice rhythm. Picked it up without too much effort over the last 5 reps and finished strongly. Very happy with session but no idea how it compares to other years. Average time was 1:19.58 seconds
