Horrible horrible conditions for a long run with Oscar. It was incredibly windy, wet at times but not too bad and very mucky underfoot. Joined Oscar when he had a about 90 mins already done. Against the wind on the way to the park and it was brutal. Got into running ok but never throughout the run did I feel like I was in full flow or running smoothly. I concentrated on getting through the run as easily as possible. For most of the run I was ok except on the the final stretch back to Oscars. The legs were beginning to go and they were v tired at the top of the hill at Christchurch. I had planned to do an extra 10 mins after reaching Oscars house but I was dead on my feet so decided to call it a day. Overall a good run but nothing special. Want to keep these long runs going to get in better shape. Looking forward to an easy week to let the batteries recharge.
