A very good workout today that I would probably give an A-

The downgrade is due to a few pauses along the way for lights, water, etc. Nothing major, but it did make the 6 mile segments not truly continuous. Other than that, was happy with how the pace felt on these segments. Second set was definitely a bit more work and getting into the "push" zone, but still within reason.

Was going to extend this to 20 by running to breakfast, but when I ran by the parking lot -- Jeannie was at the car and it turned out she had a full thing of lemonade from Bread & Pickle for me. I could not pass that up!!!

Also, tried a new gel today that gets a definite NO!!! Read about some gels from Sport in Science that have water in them to make the consistency better and a lot of caffeine. Caffeine was OK, but the amount of water in the gel made the likelihood of chocking on them very high. Also, got a bit of a stitch (not sure if from gel or not, but not going to chance it). Finally, they are huge and heavy to carry in your pocket. Might be OK on the bike, but a no go for a marathon.

Maybe it wouldn't have felt like the "push" zone if you hadn't been running faster than pace :-P Pretty badass workout, it you ask me!

First set was supposed to be 6:06 and I averaged 6:04. Second set was supposed to be faster than 6:05 and it was...

I am pretty happy with this though. :)
