I did 70 lengths of the lap pool. I did 2 lengths free style, then 2 lengths side stroke, then 2 lengths back stroke and alternated this pattern until done. While I swam, Heike and Melissa ran on the treadmill and Kevin ran to the Y. I'm noticing that I'm getting better at swimming each time. I was actually able to do 4 lengths of freestyle on some of the cycles. I'm alternating breaths every 3 stroke on each side and I've learned that I have to blow out fast and inhale fast which is much faster and choppy breathing compared to long slow breaths for easy running.
