5 miles on my own on the Powerline trail with 2x 2:00min pick ups. Coach wanted me to try doing some pick ups to break me out of the rut I've been feeling in meets where I can either run comfortably at a practice pace, or go faster but essentially hit a wall. To avoid overusing my body though I made it an easy fartlek day; it wouldn't be smart to run a race saturday, do a workout sunday, then try doing another workout monday. I found out last monday that my body really needs rest sometime, and coach doesn't neccasarily think that through when he suggests Sunday runs.
