Forced my middle schoolers to control the pace eary. I didn't allow Jordyn and te top boys to pass me for he first half of the run. I didn't want it to become an ego thing with some of the lower top tier boys burning themselves out to try and keep up with Jordyn. Also middle schooler don't understand easy pace and I didn't want all of their miles to be hard. By the forth mile I had dropped everyone but Jordyn and my top boy. They had moved ahead. I brought them back and pushed te pace on them in the last mile. Felt they had been coasting a little too much. But When they decded to race each other in the last 200 I let them go. This might have been a little soft on my part. Bu they didn't need me to push them. And I'm pretty tired from taking care of JoJo. No. 2 boy beat Jordyn by a second They were 33 and 34 seconds ahead of me.
