Notes

Felt a bit nervous about running in the cold (felt like 31 degrees according to Weather Channel). Almost wore a light jacket but glad I didn't. Long sleeve running shirt and capris, plus gloves were enough. Gloves are a huge help. Warmed up quickly and felt pretty good temp-wise. It surprised me how pleasant it can be to run in cooler temps. Ran at easy, slow pace. Legs did start feeling achy after mile 4 but nothing unbearable. I'm pretty pleased overall and thrilled that I finally ran the 10k distance. Carried water bottle with a diluted Immune Fizz. Ate some Sports Beans at around mile 2.8something and then around mile 4something. Listened to 4 Feet Running podcast. Also wore a freebie headband that I got at the Big House Big Heart expo. That little thing is awesome at keeping my hair out of my face. Also wore my newer pair of Brooks Ariel shoes.

Even though I am sloooooow, I am still a bit amazed that I can actually run for almost 90 minutes w/o stopping!
