Notes
First cool race day this season, and my time dropped appropriately. Temperature was around 16 degrees, nice and cool. Course was flat with a tailwind on the way out and a fairly strong headwind on the way back.
Muesli for breakfast.
I ran pretty well. Started nicely and was running well until 5km. Bit harder coming back into the wind and the 7th, 8th and 9th km were all over 4mins. Working hard by 7-8km. Then pushed on with a 3mins 43secs last km. Could have tried for more even splits which may have saved a few seconds. Overall pretty acceptable. Good to get back under 40mins.
