Notes
Better than expected. Ran pretty well and for a lot of the way it was not crazy hard. Fast 1st km, then settled in to a steady pace, slightly over 4mins per km due to the wind. After the turn the pace picked up a bit. Still felt fine through 6km and 7km. Then picked up a bit and by 8.5km I was really trying. Saw a sub-40 was on with a good last km so pushed it and had nothing left by the end.
Nice weather - around 13 degrees, low humidity, bit windy on the way out, much better on the way back.
Used Vaporfly 4%, HKCC shirt (because I didn’t want to use the bag drop) , Under Armour shorts and Decathlon socks. Got a blister on sole of right foot.
