Notes
Welcome to my first 20 of this training cycle...
Didn't look at my watch throughout...just ran a normal pace.
I felt pretty good for the first half...even at the hill at mile 9-10...even good enough to extend the run to the Lake which I hadn't run to before. (I knew I was close from the last time I ran to Lakewood)
Unfortunately, that left me about a mile short of my starting spot. I started to feel it around mile 18...and by 20 I was ready to stop as soon as I heard the beep. The walk felt like a walk of shame even though it was well-deserved.
Had a couple of small stops...the first was when I got to the lake. I stopped and took a quick selfie...so probably took a minute to do that. Then by mile 17, I stopped to refill my water and probably took another minute.
sips of water every mile
Gu at mile 7 and 14
Completely spent at mile 20...couldn't go any further...recovery was decent. tight, but nothing debilitating.
