tried not looking at the watch as often as I normally do

2 nummies, one at 7 and 13.5, stopped quickly to refill my bottle.

First couple of miles was hard to get going...I didn't push it in the middle, just kept going at what felt comfortable, yet challenging. I was ok with slowing down if I needed to...especially on the hills...at least for the first 10.

Was thinking about split times after 10 miles, but I figured if I had pushed, I wouldn't have made the distance. Instead of speeding up, I just tried to not slow down.

Hit hills around mile 15-16, which felt like it was good training for Akron.

End of 20 was tough, but not debilitating. Maybe could have eeked out another couple of miles at a slower pace....oh and everything hurts. Why am I doing this again?
