On a day when I might otherwise have crashed on the couch post-work, especially with a few remaining aches from Sunday's foot-tenderizing course, I embark out on my own just to keep up conditioning to prevent cold runs like last week from happening. I still don't feel up to any real distance so instead decide to work on speed, and set out as fast as I can comfortably maintain. Strong for the first two, my walked final-mile breaks still average out to less-than 9 minute miles, so I suppose that'll do...
