Thought I was starting out really slow, but ended up going 5:20 for the first mile (which is slow I guess). Went 5:27 for the next mile and about 5:25 for the last mile. Felt really strong today. No one was around me after the first 3-4 minutes, and I just tried to work on picking it up every once in a while. I think last week's race went so horribly because I was tired from the workout from the work before and running around while the shawnee people raced. BTW the Shawnee guys got 4th in the Nation! Proud of those guys.
