I did the extra warmup both because i didn't feel like my legs were completely warm after standing for the group meetup, and i also didn't want to have to deal with the big group during my intervals. I'm comfortable enough riding in the group, but its hard to get the right effort level. I like going just behind and trying to reel them in. I did two hard west side intervals, plus a final moderate one where I was told I could draft behind Scott. It was interrupted by a car, though, so it became really easy. The second interval also had a car pull out in front of me, but it quickly passed a bike and i drafted off of it (still keeping my power up)
