Notes
Hotter N Hell Road Race (cat 4/5)
low temps, no wind, and flat course. the pack really stayed together. I thought about attacking, but moving out of the pack meant time trialing at 25+, which I knew I couldn't maintain. I tried to just get used to moving around in the pack. A 6 man break away took off while i was towards the back and they got about a minute ahead thanks to their two teams slowing the pack down. I moved up and took a couple pulls with the Tom's team to help bring the breakaway back in before the end. I knew to get myself up to the front when we hit the overpass back into town (overpass then hard right, 2 blocks then hard left, 2 blocks then hard right to before finish line). I posistioned myself well, and was in the top 10 coming out of the final right hand turn. I just didn't have the power in that sprint and moved back to 17th.
