Notes
I didn't look up the forecast so Drew and I found ourselves in a warmer morning than it's been. It didn't feel too bad though. The plan was a progression run, here's our splits:

5:35 for 1.5 miles
I got us to start out slow but we dropped a good chuck already for the 2nd mile. Then the hope became to drop 15sec each mile. I didn't feel great ever but each drop in pace didn't feel much different until the 5:45. The 5:35 too much more out of me and Drew dropped as that mile finished. I picked it up for 1 more mile but soon slowed and stopped after 1/2 a mile (the average wound up being 5:35 again).
Not my best progression, but my other recent ones have been on flat concrete.
