I knew going into this run that I wasn't feeling 100%. The day before was a long one and I've been exhausted. I wanted to do a full 10 at GRP but I didn't think it was in the cards today. I ended up warming up around long run pace and then I dropped it down to GRP for 6.5 miles. I knew that I was more likely to injure myself if I pushed it too much so I decided I had enough then. I did the next two at long run pace before cooling down. Overall, it was a solid 12.5 miles and I am pleased with that. I feel that I can run comfortably at 6:15-6:20 and it will be even better when my legs are rested.
