5 x 1 mile at 5:50 x2, 5:40 x2, sub-5:39
I thought I had been feeling better coming off of that virus I caught but it caught up to me today. I ran the first two well and started to fade on the third. I really didn't improve throughout but I ran consistently. I ended up running 5:44.76, 5:47.32, 5:46.57 and 5:45.23 so they weren't bad miles but I ran out of gas on the fifth one. I did the first quarter really well and called it. The heat and the virus got to me as I felt very dehydrated. At least we didn't have humidity.
I was mostly pleased with this run. 4 x 1 mile at 5:45ish was pretty good in 85 degrees. I hope to improve on it next week.
