1200 m time trial, then 12 x 100 m strides.
This workout was awful for me. I ran the first 400 m in 73.5 seconds and that was all I had. I slowed for the other two (81.32, 82.18) and I felt miserable. I only averaged a 5:18 pace. I don't know if it was the humidity, the travel, my hamstring still being a little tight or something else. I felt heavy as I clearly ate too much on vacation and I did not feel fast. I guess that is what happens on vacation though. I felt bloated when I was running and I think I put on a few pounds over vacation. It definitely hurt me today.
The 100 m strides went ok. My hamstring felt tight whenever I accelerated but was ok once I was going. I'll probably be ok over time. Just a tough day.
