20 min at 6:00-6:10/mi, 5:00 recovery, 8 x 1:00 @ 5K pace (1:00 recovery)
Another good workout. I wasn't sure how this would go as my quads were still pretty sore from the weekend but as I started the pace work, the pain disappeared for a while. The 20 minute section went well and I actually averaged 5:57/mi so that was good. I felt pretty good through this segment.
The 8 x 1:00 went ok. Five of the repeats went really well (5:16 or 5:34 pace) but I did have some slower ones in there. A great workout would have had 0.18 miles or more on all eight intervals but that's ok. I still had a really good workout and I started and finished strong. Overall, a good run.
