This was supposed to be a 16 mile long run with the last 5 miles at GRP but I didn't have anything left in my legs to push that hard. I know that was partially because I moved my last long run to Sunday to help with the Lake Johanna 4 mile and this meant I had 71 miles in 5 days with two long runs. That would have been fine but I had two very emotionally challenging work days and was kind of beat after Tuesday and Wednesday. To me, I just wanted to get my 16 miles in and get through this week and start picking it up again next week. I knew the miles would help so I am not that disappointed in not finishing with the GRP work. I know that almost every other run has gone well so one bad one won't hurt me, especially since I know how hard work can be. I'm looking forward to races the next two weeks now and I'm glad I have 53 of my 75 miles in this week.
