My goal this year was to run every street in Sammamish, WA and I fucking did it. Mapped it using my Garmin and citystrides.com, which gave some good images at the end. So happy I completed it considering injury and all. I drove/ran to all start points on my own, no drop offs for a point to point.
The highlight was sneaking into Sahalee with Tom E, and running a 10 miler (in Nov) in order to knock it out in one shot.
What a year. Another 52 weeks of hunkering down trying to avoid covid, unemployed, having fun with the boys and doing shores around the house.
I ran one race. It was time-trial-style to spread people out. I fucking won, which was amazing, but different than an actual start-at-the-gun-footrace.
I can't complain. But with so little socializing before and after the race, it didn't make me want to get out for another race any time soon.
