Race report coming later...just couldn't really put out a quality effort due to the course conditions. Got to hang out with Mike McKeighen.

3/3/09 - Just reading through some race reports and realized I never came back to this one.
This was the day after the ice storm...course was treacherous and took its toll on a few people. Numerous icy spots, a water hazard, and not to mention running in the dark. I don't recall the race specifics too much at this point but I do remember a very controlled cautious race early on, nearly falling several times and watching Mike and Mikey out-perform me. I did put on a very strong late surge to come within seconds of Mikey and don't recall having any major breathing problems. A pretty solid pace for the conditions and time of year.
Tried plotting course sometime back, but I believe the park has changed since the satelite image was taken.
