70F 87%H 66DP, the Snellville Half Marathon & I was number 821. It was a short course and very hilly. If I had seen the elevation map before I registered I never would have registered. The ridiculous thing is that as the only 65+ person in the race I actually got first place in age group. It shows how meaningless such awards are. HR was in flutter the whole way. HR was 140 at the start. Michelle Edwards rode to the race with me. She even had to walk part of one of the hills which says something about the hills. She ran her usual great race. They didn't have enough water stations. It certainly seemed a lot hotter than the temperature indicates. The only saving thing was that it became overcast at around the 10 mile mark. I won't be going back to this one. Plus it was on the same day as the Possum Trot 10k which is the race I should have run today.
