Notes

I was not expecting it to be so cold this morning, but I'm glad I woke up for it. Good run overall. Tried out a different route today and it's definitely a keeper. Starts off with a few hills, but after that it's just seven miles of flat country gravel. I encountered a few things on this run too. First, a black duck crossed my path, which I hope doesn't mean bad luck. Second, we have a local homeless man, last name Pain, that rides his bike around where we live and I passed by him today. I came up behind him and said "hello" and it seemed like I scared him half to death. I turn around and apologized. He then proceeded to say "You're one stacked man!" I gave him a friendly smile and thanked him for the confidence booster. Then finally, I found a Level B road, which is a low maintenance road, and the sign said "Enter at your own risk." I didn't think anything by it until I think I found a huge flock nest of birds somewhere around the area because all of a sudden I am being circled by birds, and I mean a lot of them. Honestly, I thought it was pretty cool and just continued on with my run.

That's all I got for today. Training seems to be going pretty well so far. I'm getting a little lonely already, but I know I'm not alone. I got all those damn red wing black birds always watching and attacking me. Maybe in the near future we'll all become aquatinted with each other. Cheers.
