Temp 16 (5) Wind 8 mph.

Track Intervals. Only thing less of a friend than this morning's weather is today's calendar. Can't control either, and no more days or weeks to wait to begin 2018 race prep. Need to start training to run fast (for my age) again.

Warm-Up -- Jog over to the track, surge / stride straights with walk recoveries for two laps, then two more with jog recoveries on the turns.

Workout -- 8 x 200 with 200 jogs. Running and not wanting to mess with lap button. Only recorded average paces for first two (6:49/6:59) and last two (6:35/6:27). Old, cold knees were stiff throughout. Otherwise, not too shabby for single-digit conditions in the dark.

Cool-Down -- Extra easy, strict jog back to the house.
