Long Run. CBEM originals six days from the big race. Sprinkles and light rain most of the morning. Four plus miles of jogging to start. Focused and deliberate drill and strider set to finish warm-up. Total of 5.17 miles in 43:34.
Put on the flats and go 30:00 minutes XC at aerobic/tempo effort. Splits 7:16 / 7:13 / 7:10 / 7:00 / 1:20 (6:51). Heavy legs. Good little cardio stimulus.
Short cool-down of 1.19 miles in 9:12. We're as prepared as possible. Saw the rest of the Mo Run Co - CG team out on the trail for their 15-milers.
