Track Intervals. Summertime. Jog to track and take one lap to prime. Surge/strides on straights, walking the turns.
Workout in middle/outside lanes. 200 jogs after each. Flipped directions three times. 1 x 200 (6:52 average pace) / 1 x 400 (6:53 average pace) / 4 x 600 (6:52 / 6:47 / 6:42 / 6:32 average paces). Only had 4 cylinders working this morning. Was not getting stronger, was getting more coordinated on each. Today's negative-split numbers evidence of why runners "train" instead of "practice".
