Temp 38 (32) Wind 7 mph.

Rare evening workout. Lower back wrecked due to having to sit in broken chair at work yesterday. Locks up on me when standing after sitting too long. Pissed! Warm-up of 20:00 minutes with two surges. 2.33 miles.

Workout is 4 x 4:00 Minutes @ 5K/10K w/ 3:00 Minute Jog Intervals. On the track tonight. Two in each direction.

REP -- (Pace) -- Comment

#1 -- (6:05) -- Probably too fast for first one. Form all over the place. Effort too hard.

#2 -- (6:07) -- Tad slower, but better form.

#3 -- (6:07) -- Same speed, form slips in couple of spots. Getting too tough to finish too soon.

#4 -- (6:11) -- Elvis leaves building heading into third minute. Takes my form and focus with him. Brutal finish.

There's going to be ugly ones along the way. This was one of them. One positive...for such a short VO2 Max workout, got to spent lots of time in LT hell. Cool-down jog home of 1.79 miles in 17:36.
