Finally saw the sun after the several days and 17 inches of rain. Great day for a run. Everything went smoothly except my Garmin's battery died at the end of my last running interval. I did do a 5 minute walking cool-down. Ran in my Brooks Launch again (the first time on the road). I like them, it's like running in slippers. But as such, their feel makes me worry about their durability and I'm not sure that someone my size would be successful with them in a longer run/race. I'll certainly run some shorter races in them at some point, and I'm now eager to grab a pair of the Brooks Green Silence and give them a shot too. I'm not turning my back on my Newton's (I love my Newton's), just wanting to give them a break and try some other's here and there.
