Great run today. I felt strong. Probably too strong. I was really working hard to slow it down in order to find and settle into my E pace... It was like I was chomping at the bit the whole time no matter what I tried (deep breathing, relaxation techniques, distractions, etc). Finally, after I mad it up Birch Brush Hill, with 0.75 mile left I just let loose and finished strong. I didn't look at my watch, just ran as fast as I felt I could sustain (with good form) through the end of the run. Looking at the data now, I surprised myself.
