Notes
I set-out on this run knowing it was going to be difficult. These allergies are kicking my ass. I took Zyrtec in the morning and felt okay, but I was all jacked-up because all we have was the D type (w/pseudoephedrine). I waited until the weather started to cool down and the meds wore-off figuring I'd take more after my run. The run started-out alright but around the 2-3 mile mark my legs started to feel like they had lead in them and it was getting harder to breathe. My lungs were on fire the rest of the way. I felt like I was really dragging it through 6 and 7 and somewhere around mile 8 I saw my girls. Lex and Isabelle came out to meet me and it picked-up my spirits and I was able to pick-up the pace a little. They parked by the reservoir and waited for me. I finished with a sprint up the reservoir hill and back down then met them and sat in the stream to cool my legs. The perfect end to a difficult run...
