Great time running with the Lucky Catch Team and getting to start off with Jeff and Brett. Went out comfortable on the steep downhill start and settled in to a groove with a few people. Jeff told me not to let the group in front of us get away, so I worked on keeping up with them for a while. Changed places with a few people along the way and really enjoyed the effort. At the four mile mark I picked it up as best I could after slacking a little to conserve. Tried to catch a guy the last few hundred yards but he saw me and kicked it in. Real fun race and really great after party with beer and pizza.
