Cadair Idris (893m) from the south: up and back, w S, T, W. Snow on top and pretty cold up there! (Patchy and just enough for some small snowballs). There is a little shelter at the trig point, and two dogs were very interested in our sandwiches. Pretty busy - lots of people heading up there today. Cadair Idris is basically a vast corrie (cwm), and another one or two on the north side as well.
"Next time" I would try one of the paths straight up the back wall past the corrie lake - we just saw one family doing this - but come back down the normal path. Pretty steep and a v good walk.
