This was a very tough run. No idea of actual distance. Loop to Col de Merdassier, then down to look at the first quarter or so of the Manigod VK route. Blimey - brutal. Hot. Reminded me in parts of S Downs or Box Hill chalk scree (limestone here) and meadows, but sections vv steep. Then quite hard back. Saw ibex leaping straight down the screes!
