It is extremely windy! So we went to Cockersands, of course + STJ. Then cut inland from the Abbey (lots of cows), and a chaotic trek along semi-marked footpaths, through almost every type of livestock (chiefly sheep, cows, horses, chickens, dogs), with more-or-less helpful guidance from the rural residents themselves. We might not do this precise route again.
One farmer did point us towards the gate and away from the electric fence: "Touch that wire and it will put you on the floor", he said, which to be honest was quite helpful.
