Striding Edge w T and W: Left school at 2pm (don't tell anyone), parked in Glenridding, set off at 4pm and back before 8. Striding Edge / Swirral Edge / Catstycam / back down Glenridding Beck. Fabulous ridge, obviously, moved at good speed, fun final scramble up to the ridge, lovely weather (a few clouds at times), very dry everywhere, wouldn't let W swim (!) although it did look tempting, chips in Bowness on the way home.
Gleridding is at about 150m, so probably 900m+ of climbing overall.
