I am ill. Blame getting cold and wet on the bike on Wednesday, plus the background stress of dodging bullets at work.
Staveley: w SWJ, and bumped into Ray Thomas and Helen outside a posh ice-cream shop in Staveley (NB it is cold, despite the ice creams).
Would be a good running route, though v steep in parts. Staveley / up the hill then R through delightful woods called Craggy Plantation / Potter Tarn / down to Hundhowe and back along the river. Saw goosanders and a kingfisher.
