Notes
Planned workout: 3 miles at 7:00ish, 3 miles steady at 6:30ish, and 3 miles at sub-6:00 with 1 mile easy. Ran to downtown Havre de Grace and did the Lafayette trail (not actually a trail, but a marked historic route), which is a 3.25 mile loop.
First 3 miles felt easy; actually thought I would hit 7:00 for the 2nd & 3rd mile, but ended up under. The first mile of the 2nd segment was a bit faster than 6:30ish but the effort felt steady. Switching gears to the 3rd segment from 6:30ish to sub-6:00 took some effort, but still felt controlled.
The 3 x 3-mile progression were: 20:56, 19:16, & 17:42. Happy with the workout.
