as i'm typing this at 11:00 am, the temp is 76. It felt like 85-90 out there. Humidity is high. 2 months of cool weather has got me feeling like a new englander again it seems.
Wasn't expecting much from this other than to collect some miles so I'm not really upset it was kind of a crappy run. The second interval was pretty decent and I was hoping to replicate that along the same stretch of road coming back, but it was not to be. After gulf shore on the way home, the above mentioned heat started to kick my ass. Also, although legs didn't really feel tired, yesterday's race may have had an impact.
