I really don't know how far I went, but I went for 52 min. and the last two times I did that it was 1800. This time, though, I did the whole thing alternate breathing, which I have now figured out must be done on the odd stroke. I'm a math whiz. So, I had been doing 4 on just right side which left me with the choice of 3 or 5. 3 was too short, 5 was a bit of a stretch, but doable so I did alternate breathing every 5. I felt like I was working harder, going faster, getting more of a workout . . . something . . . but the HR was still just over 100 so likely I was just getting used to the stroke. I know I need a lot of practice, but this all felt pretty good so it's a start. I have no idea how to count laps doing it this way so still more to learn.
