Really solid run on the treadmill. Went into it thinking it was just going to be a recovery run but I picked it up to sub6 after a 730 first mile to open up. Felt good so I kept it up for 2miles. Took it back down to 640 for a half mile and then picked it up for another 1.5 starting at 5:55pace and getting down to 5:37. Treadmill pace obviously isn't the exact same as being outside but it was still an encouraging run. Sub6 felt much better than it did even yesterday. Glad I opted for inside instead of outside too. Any run outside would have been slow and probably would have done a number on my achilles...and avoiding cars that are struggling to stop is never fun either.
