Finally felt like I got that "pop" back today, even though I was running a really easy/taper pace. I could feel the way I feel before my best big races, like a spring was coiled in my calves and core, ready to set it off. Finished the run with 4 20 second strides, and tweaked the hamstring again. This time it really feels sore, held up fine until I reached about 85-100% speed, when it really started to feel painful and sore.

I'm just reminding myself that it's always darkest before it's completely black...I'll take tomorrow (30 EZ off + 4 strides), or just omit the strides. Hopefully, it shouldn't be an issue come race day, or I'll just have to get through it. Unfortunate, but I've run through much worse. I'll keep my head and finish strong, then likely take a good 2-3 weeks off everything.
