Notes
Ran the tempos uphill, into the wind, with a fuel belt adding weight in the heat. A lot of factors were influencing the paces today, but I got into a better groove on the second tempo because I reminded myself how to run a quality tempo run and emphasized not to worry about the seemingly erratic paces. I just have to have faith that my training will pay off, and recognize that like a race - tempos don't need to be started out at a kill yourself pace, but a smooth transition to a comfortably hard, sustainable pace (held for approx 1 hr max).
Good end to another peak week.
