Zensha!! made all the difference. What a beautiful Georgia day! Tough hike up Coosa but a view awaited at the top of Blood. Alan and I shared lunch at the summit of Blood Mountain. Something about Blood Mountain that makes the universe meld and make sense. Ran down via Bear Hair trail, can't remember ever being on this trail. Look forward to revisiting when the leaves have fallen. Appreciated the shade even though the air was cool today. We saw many wildflowers and a few chestnuts. Sadly the Giant Hemlocks are dying.
