After the drive up to the Smoky's we decided to take advantage of the weather and do our longest planned trip today. The trail was steep but well worth the hike. We went past the lodge and hiked to the summit then went on to Myrtle Point which was a highlight. Left there and hiked to Cliff tops for another pretty view. Trail run down the mountain where the trail became crowded with hikers going to Alum Cave and some going on to Mt. Le Conte Lodge.Great day!
