Tempo intervals:
3 mile WU with a steady build, on the trails at Schenley, a 4 x 20" strides at the end
Then: 2 X 3 (actually did 3 x 2, since it was crazy windy and my legs were still feeling Tuesday a bit--fatigue + sore calves). The idea was: "Each one is done as: 1 mile in 6:15, 1 mile in 6:05, 1 mile in ~5:55." These paces are ~10" either side of goal 1/2 marathon pace (6:05)." Sounded, fun but....
What I ACTUALLY did:
2 miles (6:07, 6:07), 1/2 mile easy, light stretching
2 miles (6:02, 6:07), 1/2 mile easy, stretched a bit
2 miles (6:07, 6:12)
2 mile CD, then some dynamic stretching since my legs felt trashed. Went pretty well, all things considered!
