Mt St Helens backpacking day 1: Windy Ridge trailhead to June Lake. Warm sunny day, but nice wind kept us cool enough. Toffer and I ambled very slowly, enjoying the incredible views and finding our backpacking legs again. Toffer was in extreme pain the last few miles though; I was pretty worried. Luckily he bounced back the next couple of days with the help of advil.
