Super fun! Second 5k-ish race, also cold and snowy at this one... And it sure was snowing, big fatty flakes all over the place. I didn't repeat the mistake of donning long underwear, though a garbage bag and hand warmers might have been nice...
I started pretty far back in the crowd, so it took a loooong time to cross the start line and a looong time to get to pace. However, weaving through the jolly green and glamorous masses was actually the highlight, swishing by in my rebellious bright yellow shorts, zig-zagging around and leaping over obstacles of joggers, sidewalks, bushes, giant oily puddles of water,... sweet! Lots of fun uphill too...
Also, got to see Toffer going the other way on 99! He did super awesome. After no running training, the day after a leg workout, he busted 3.75 miles out like nobody's business.
