Ran Horsetooth with David while the parents hiked it. For my first run at altitude, I was really struggling on the way up. Had to stop and walk a couple times. Nevertheless, I made it all the way up the mountain and enjoyed the first of the mountain views from my time in Colorado. The run down the Wathen trail on the way back was really enjoyable. Somehow, the feeling of going over rough and difficult trails with automatic ease was lots of fun. Finished the whole run feeling remarkably fresh in the legs.
